LIFE (Leaders In Freshmen Engineering) is one of 12 FLOs (Freshman Leadership Organizations) on the Texas A&M campus. LIFE is unique in that it is specifically geared toward freshmen in the Dwight Look College of Engineering. It is also a committee of the Student Engineers' Council (SEC) and serves as an ideal organization to develop leadership before joining SEC.
LIFE provides a great opportunity to take a break from studying, meet some awesome people, and get involved on campus. LIFE consists of six committees - Development, External, Inreach, Membership, Service, and Socials - each with a different purpose. Freshmen are responsible for planning the many events LIFE participates in; these events include retreats, service events, engineering outreach programs, plant trips, intramurals, an annual giant game of capture the flag, and many more!
