Howdy!
We started the Spring 2012 semester with another successful career fair, bringing together a spring semester record of over 250 companies and more than 2700 students. We hope that your company found some great candidates.
With the end of one career fair comes the beginning of another. The Fall 2012 Career Fair dates have been set for September 11th and 12th. Registration for the Fall 2012 Career Fair will begin on February 28th 2012! The fair will begin with a Golf Tournament and Welcome Dinner on Monday, September 10th followed by the exhibit on Tuesday the 11th and Wednesday the 12th. We will also have our Student Recruiter Social on Tuesday evening.

Technip Visits Aggieland

Technip came out to speak to the Student Engineers' Council this past week. They spoke on how to transition from the school to the work place and how to manage your home life vs. work life.

National Association of Engineering Student Councils
Regional NAESC - Texas A&M University, Fall 2011
The National Association of Engineering Student Councils Regional Conference was held at Texas A&M University October 21st- 22nd. Schools from all over the central region joined together to collaborate on ways to better their engineering council, school, and students.
The conference was sponsored by both Schlumberger and Valero. Both companies came out do to a corporate presentation to the delegates!
Design Competition
A design competition was also held among the different schools to design the aircraft that lasted the longest in flight. With the limited supplies allowed we had all sorts of inventions!

Company Registration for Spring 2012 Career Fair is Now Open
Howdy!
Registration for the Spring 2012 SEC Engineering Career Fair is now open! The Spring Fair will be held on January 23-24, 2012 at Reed Arena here on campus. The fair will kick off with a welcome dinner on Monday, and the event exhibition will be held on Tuesday.
Please go to sec.tamu.edu/corporate to register your company. You must log in to be able to register for the fair, update your information, or view any outstanding balances. Simply click “Company Login” and enter your email and password on the left side of the screen.
